Justice Connect's Not-For-Profit Law service is coming to Ross House for the day to help you!
Head to the Hayden Raysmith room and hear about key legal tips for not-for-profit groups and/or speak to a lawyer one-on-one for further information later in the day. They have a range of services that can help, including over the phone (if you can’t stay for an appointment).
This free event is a fantastic opportunity to have any of your questions answered.
The day will be split into two parts:
1. Legal Information session – 10am to 11am
One-hour free legal information session with hot tips on the following 5 key legal issues:
2. Managing volunteers & employees - HR issues
3. Safety - liability, risk and insurance
4. Privacy - dealing with personal, health and sensitive information
5. Working with other community organisations
Morning tea will follow this session.
2. Appointment with Lawyer – 11:30 to 4:30pm

Ross House will be closed on Friday 30th September 2016 for the Grand Final Eve. The building will re-open on Monday 3rd October 2016.

Why are we running the forum? Reinforce is running the forum to celebrate International Day of People with a Disability. International Day of People with a Disability is held each year to let people know about the rights of people with a disability and to celebrate all the great things that people with disabilities have done or are doing.
To celebrate the day Reinforce will be running a one day forum called ‘Human Rights in the 21st Century’
What is the forum about? The forum is about human rights for people with an intellectual disability. At the forum we will talk about the issues facing people with an intellectual disability in the 21st Century and what actions need to happen for people to get their rights. So come along have your say, learn new things and meet new people. We hope to see you there!
