VCOSS
The Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) is the peak organisation of the non-government social and community services sector. VCOSS raises awareness of the existence, causes and effects of poverty and inequality, and contributes to initiatives seeking to create a more just society. VCOSS provides a strong, non-party political voice for the community sector and consults regularly with more than 600 members, in order to effectively represent issues relating to disadvantage to government and the wider community. We do this by developing and critiquing government and related policies, speaking out through diverse networks, carrying out research and promoting these views through publications and the media.

Community Information Victoria
Community Information Victoria (CIVic) is an Association of member agencies that provide community information and support services to their local communities throughout Victoria. CIVic is committed to assist the member agencies in providing a community information and support service that is free, confidential, impartial, and independent, and respects the rights of individuals and groups to make decisions for themselves. CIVic provides assistance to the membership in relation to community information, advocacy, policy and program development, research and consultation, development and support of the membership.

Our Community
Our Community is a social enterprise that provides 15 Knowledge Centres – spanning all aspects of running a community group and comprising a range of resources, training, advice and tools – for Australia’s 700,000 community groups and schools, as well as practical linkages between the community sector and the general public, business and government.

Collective of Self Help Groups COSHG
Self Help Groups are groups of people who get together with others 'in the same boat' to support each other, share experiences and knowledge, and work together to improve their quality of life. Groups are involved in a variety of activities, such as meetings, information, phone support, producing news letters, social gatherings, advocacy and campaigns. COSHG acts as a clearing house for people who want to contact groups. The COSHG Directory lists over 700 groups throughout Victoria.

ANHLC is the Association of Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres. It was established in the early 1970’s as the peak body for Victorian neighbourhood houses and learning centres. Eco-shout
Eco-shout is a catalyst to action for Victoria's green community, those campaigning for environmental and Indigenous justice and a sustainable future. The Eco-shout website is an information and networking hub for small groups and activists and includes a directory of active groups (from small collectives to NGOs) indexed by their focus; a green directory; greenwash reporting; jobs and sharehousing network.
